Final Fantasy Agito XIII, (Latin for "to perform an action") is an Online RPG, but for the next-generation of mobilephones. To be developed by the production team of FFVII Before Crisis and FFVII Crisis Core. The game is set in a magnificent school and you may choose from one of twelve characters to play throughout the game. The character you choose will be a student at the magic school named "Periticium" where you will go about daily tasks and meet fellow students, the storyline accompanies the main story of FFXIII as a prequel and will be fairly open-ended instead of mission-based like FFVII Before Crisis. The game is still in very early development and doesn't have a specified platform, an American release date is unknown due to Japanese mobilephone technology being much more advanced, so it may not even be possible for it to be available to the rest of the world.

UPDATE
As of January 18th, 2011, the game reappeared under a new name: Final Fantasy Type-0 instead of the former title Final Fantasy Agito XIII along with a new trailer released on the 27th January. Square-Enix have also stated that the game will still take place under the Fabula Nova Crystallis series despite the change in title. In addition, Type-0 is no longer an online RPG and will be released on 2 UMD discs on the Sony PSP.
