Can I hotlink/direct link to your http://www.finalfantasyworld.co.uk/images/media?
No. That's stealing bandwidth and is prohibited on this website. If you must link to an image or other media, you may link to the page an image is on, or, if the image is, for example, official artwork that is not directly owned by Final Fantasy World, then you could host it yourself on one of the many quick and easy online hosting services.

Can I take/use your content and/or images?
Directly using content from FFW is strictly prohibited. If exclusive FFW content is seen on a site that is not part of our network, (Final Fantasy World and Kingdom Hearts Extreme) then you will be asked to remove it immediately.
Images that are for example, official artwork that is not directly owned by Final Fantasy World, you may use, as long as credit is given with a link back to Final Fantasy World.

Can I take/use your Fanart?
All Fanart are exclusive to Final Fantasy World and cannot be taken or used in any shape or form, however if you wish for a piece of Fanart to be shown in your gallery, you may add it as long as permission is aquired from the author by sending an E-Mail through the Contact Us form and credit is given. Watermarks will not be removed.

Can I use the Wallpapers, Signatures and Avatars in your Free Graphics section?
Of course, the graphics are there for visitors to use and enjoy, although credit to the Graphics Designer and a link back to FFW on Forums wouldn't cause any harm.
Wallpapers and Winamp Skins are for personal use only.
Re-distribution of the graphics is strictly prohibited and any graphics seen on a website that is not part of our network, (Final Fantasy World and Kingdom Hearts Extreme) and you will be asked to remove it/them immediately.

Can I take/use your Tutorials?
All Tutorials are exclusive to Final Fantasy World and taking them as your own is strictly prohibited. If any FFW tutorial is seen on a site that is not part of our network, (Final Fantasy World and Kingdom Hearts Extreme) then you will be asked to remove it immediately. However if you wish for a tutorial to be shown in your site or forum, you may add it as long as permission is aquired from the author by sending an E-Mail through the Contact Us form and credit is given.
Using the Tutorials to improve your own personal skills is fine.

Can you host my website?
No, Final Fantasy World will not be hosting any websites in the near future.

What program did you use to make this website?
Numerous programs are used to make websites, but I use Adobe Photoshop CS to design my website, Dreamweaver 4.0 to code it, and CuteFTP to upload it to my server.

Can you send me those programs?
No.

How do you make a website?
Sorry, but that question cannot be answered in a simple FAQ!

When was this site opened?
Final Fantasy World was first designed and created in 2004, and then re-designed in 2005 for an official opening on June 25th 2005.

What program do you use for your News system?
CuteNews V1.4.1.

Why aren't you responding to my E-Mail?
This may be because it could be a very busy time for FFW staff; the E-Mail you included in the Contact Us form is incorrect; our E-Mails are offline; or the staff may be away or on holiday! But don't worry, you can send the message again to make sure, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

How often do you update the site?
Very often indeed, even if the changes can't be seen, like small code editing, FFW is constantly being changed, edited and updated. Updating with news isn't as often but we do our best, so just keep checking back! ^.^

Can I Affiliate with your site?
If your website meets our requirements, and our Affiliate spaces aren't full, then sure! Click here for Affiliation.

What is the proper size for an Affiliation button?
The biggest is 88 x 31 pixels and the smallest is 88 x 15 pixels, for our Affiliates page, we only need a 88 x 31 button for your site.

How can I contribute to the site?
Just send me an E-Mail by using one of our forms, either the "Contact Us" form or a Private Message to "FFFreak" using the forums. I may not reply straight away, but don't worry, I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Please do not send copyrighted material, we want original content 'In Your Own Words'. Thanks.

If I send in some information, will you give me full credit for it?
Yes, of course!

If I send in the URL to an image I'm contributing, will you hotlink/direct link to it?
Absolutely not! We know not to steal other people's bandwidth. We will save and upload it to our own server.

Can I join the Staff?
If you meet as many of the requirements as you can, use proper grammar, are friendly, and don't steal other people's content, then go ahead and fill out the form on the "Apply for Staff" page.

What screen resolution is best for viewing this site?
The layout was specifically created to fit 800 x 600 pixels, and although it looks best on 1024 x 768 resolution screens, it can be viewed quite easily on both resolutions, this website has not been tested on larger screens, but it should look great either way. ^^

What internet browser is best for viewing this site?
FFW works fine in both Internet Exploror (IE) and Mozilla Firefox. Other browsers have not been tested, but if a problem occurs on, for example, Opera or Netscape etc, then please notify us by using the "Contact Us" form.

When I fill out the Contact Us form, why does it take me to an Error page?
You possibly didn't fill in the required fields, or the form script might not be working. Also remember that your E-Mail address is required for a reply.

Why are some pages not working and/or have broken/dead links?
FFW has just undergone a major coding re-vamp, so I have either overlooked some faults in the coding, haven't uploaded the page yet, haven't changed the link, or there's a problem with our host. But please feel free to E-Mail these faults through the form on the "Contact Us" page.

Can I be a Forum Moderator/Admin?
No. Forum positions are not handed out to the first person who asks, and becoming a Moderator can be a difficult task so candidates are chosen carefully, you must have good grammar, make good decisions and be very trust-worthy. Becoming an Admin is out of the question.

How come CuteNews shows errors sometimes?
I have probably been installing some extra features for it that might have messed up some of the files resulting in some errors, but don't worry, if you report this error I shall get on it right away.

What program do you use to make your graphics on this site?
Adobe Photoshop CS, there is no other choice for good graphics. ^^

Will you make me a Signature/Avatar?
No, personal Signatures and Avatar requests will not be taken, there might be someone on our forums who could help you out though, there are plenty of great graphics designers over there.

Will you make me a layout?
No. Creating layout is a long and difficult business which FFW staff do not have time for, there might be someone on our forums who could help you out though, there are plenty of great graphics designers over there. .

Can I add you to my MSN/AIM/Yahoo ect.?
No. I only give out IM addresses to FFW staff and affiliates.

How can I register with your CuteNews?
All you have to do is Go To This Link and register yourself as a Commenter for FFW's CuteNews and you can post comments in our news posts with your own Username, this also helps prevent ID Theft. =)

I want to be able to post news on your site!
To do that you must be a News Journalist for FFW. You can sign up Here. Please note you might not be accepted if you do not meet the requirements.

Can I link to your website from mine?
Of course, check out the "Affiliation" page where our buttons are kept, this does not make you an FFW affiliate.

Unless you're an Affiliate or a friend, then no.

Can I use your E-Mail form script?
No. The form is especially for this website and our network, (Final Fantasy World and Kingdom Hearts Extreme) and won't work on another website.

Can I specially order a Final Fantasy and/or Kingdom Hearts costume that you do not sell?
Yes, if the costume is feasible to make.
Note that there would be extra costs for designing the costume, new materials and postage.

How I can't log in to your Online Shop?
We may be experiencing technical difficulties at the time, so logging in would not be possible.
Do try again though, or make a new account if the old one isn't working properly.

Do you sell Internationally?
Yes, we sell worldwide.

Do you take other currencies?
Yes, scroll down the page on our Online Shop and on the left navigation should be a drop-down box. You may select your desired currency from that menu.

What's the Merchandise Survey?
The Merchandise Survey, as the name already suggests, is an online form with a few questions for you to answer about Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts products. The information you send us will be used towards investigating whether there is an interest in Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts merchandise and costumes, so that we can decide if we should open up our own Online Shop with exclusive costumes that are of authentic quality with affordable prices. All information and E-Mails will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with other third parties.

The survey's we have been sent have been very positive and our Online Shop is now open for business. Thank you for your interest, and please check back soon for more updates on the costumes!

And finally... What's with the Discount Code after I have sent my Survey?
To thank you for completely filling in our Merchandise Survey, after you have sent it, you will be re-directed to a 'Form Successfully Sent' page which will contain a Discount Code.
This code entitles you to a 5% discount for if and when our Online Shop is online.
To use, all you have to do is input the code when you process your order and the shopping cart will automatically deduct 5% from your purchase!
The code is only accessible after a survey has been successfully sent, however the code can be personally sent to you by E-Mail if you lose it.
