Final Fantasy World -- Apply For Staff

We're looking for devoted Staff members to help around with the site. If you're capable and have a lot of Final Fantasy knowledge, then read the requirements and send us an E-Mail!

· You must be 12+.
· You have to have played and completed at least one Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts game.
· You must have good grammar.
· You must write detailed and lengthy info.
· We would expect content/updates at regular intervals, if we do not hear from you for 1-2 weeks without notice then you may lose your staff position!
· We have the right to remove you from Staff at any time for any reason.
· We have the right to edit or delete any content or posts that we consider unacceptable or incorrect.
· Copying other people's work or 'plagiarism', (using someone else's images, posts, words etc..) is strictly forbidden, anyone caught doing so will be removed completely from our site. You have been warned!

If you are accepted, you'll go on a one week trial to see if you're fit for the position.

If you become Staff at Final Fantasy World, then we hope you enjoy your stay here. But if you ever need to leave, then please do not think that you should be Staff here permanently. If you are sure, you may resign from your position.

The positions that are currently open are:

News Team / Journalists (Open!)
Main Requirements: Good grammar, post Final Fantasy or Kingdom hearts news frequently, played a Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts game and have a general knowledge of FF or KH.
Must write lengthy updates, know how to search for news on Google etc and have own means of finding news. A fair knowledge of basic html, (for links) and preferably past experience with our news system, Cutenews. You'll also be given your own Avatar, made by FFFreak, to use with your news posts.
Description: Find news about FF or KH from adverts, Magazines, Google, websites, MSN or word of mouth and then post it on the site using CuteNews.

Content Writer
Main Requirements: Excellent grammar, send information as often as possible, devoted, write lengthy info. Must have played and completed at least one FF game.
Description: Write in-depth information covering as much as possible about an FF game (FFVII is the only exception as our section for it is almost complete). You would have a lot on your hands completing your chosen section, so experience is definitely required.
To be accepted, we need to know how you will write the content, so along with your staff application, we want you to write the location of any weapon you choose for any Final Fantasy game you want, locations are very important for writing imformative content, so do your best to make the location of your chosen weapon as clear and understandable as possible with very good spelling, grammar and interesting words. If we think it is clear, simple to follow, yet descriptive, then we'll give you your first content assignment!
Note: All content must be written completely by yourself, you may look up information on the internet or with strategy guides, but direct copying/ripping of another's work is strictly prohibited.
Credit will be given for all of your content.

Theory Writer
Main Requirements: Good grammar, send at least two theories of any FF game every one or two weeks, write lengthy info.
Description: Send us with your theories of the FF games that haven't been released yet. We're looking for your ideas on story events and characters from the little imformation given before a Final fantasy is released. You can also write theories for previous FFs, such as your ideas on unexplained/vague areas of a story.
Credit will be given for your theories.

Translator
Main Requirements: Good grammar, must know Japanese.
Description: Translate Japanese Magazine scans or Japanese websites to English. Trust me, this is very useful.
Credit for your translations will be given.

Graphics Designer

Main Requirements: Good computer skills, have a good graphics program, (i.e Adobe Photoshop CS, Paintshop Pro) and examples of previous work.
Description: Making Final Fantasy Graphics for FFW, it could be anything like Banners, Avatars, Wallpapers or Winamp Skins, which will be displayed in our Free Graphics section.
Credit for your graphics will be given.

AMV Maker
Main Requirements: Have Photoshop Premiere or Windows Movie Maker 2, and be able to upload your AMVs yourself. We recommend YouTube.com for this.
Description: Make AMVs of FF or KH. Anime Music Videos are video clips of a game cut together along to a song, preferably a good song. :P
Credit for your AMVs will be given.

Please note that some positions may be closed, however you can still get a position if we are impressed with your work, or if an old staff member has left, so even if the position is closed, you might have a chance of getting it. Besides, what's the worst that can happen?
