E3 2008 Announcement: FFXIII To Be Released For Xbox 360!

Hey everyone, this is Machina Man with some huge news straight from E3! During Microsoft’s press conference, the president of Square Enix came onto the stage and announced three titles (including The Last Remnant) that are going to be hitting stores and will be on the Xbox 360.

He left the stage, claiming he had nothing left to say. He then came back a moment later, saying he forgot one other announcement. The announcement was that Final Fantasy XIII, which was supposed to be a Playstation 3 exclusive, will be released in all of its graphical beauty on the Xbox 360. The 360 release will only be in the U.S. and Europe, though. Japanese fans can only buy it for the PS3.

Sadly, no release date has been announced yet. Don’t let that get you down, though. Square Enix will be holding a private party on August 2nd and 3rd that will be showcasing games. These games include the Final Fantasy XIII series, The 3rd Birthday, and they will also be looking at Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. New trailers will be released of the newest Kingdom Hearts titles and also, playable demos of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts: Coded, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, and Sigma Harmonics will be available at the party.

Square Enix seems to be pleasing the fans with their perfect remakes and with Chrono Trigger on the way, we’ll be happy for a long time to come.
